The VR Negotiation Room: How We Broke the "Role-Play Paradox"
Pioneered the first mass VR sales training in Russia, creating a powerful USP and cementing the founder's status as an industry innovator.
Canvas Idea
To develop Russia's first VR solution for mass sales training for Anastasia Solntseva's "SCHOOL of SALES!", enabling simultaneous immersion for up to 20 participants.
Canvas Challenge
The core problem of traditional sales training is the "Role-Play Paradox." Classic role-playing with a colleague doesn't create real psychological pressure; participants "play" at selling instead of living the experience. The challenge was to break this paradox with a scalable tool that immerses each participant in a realistic, stressful situation.
Stroke Solution
The key decision—the "one precise stroke"—was the creation of a "VR Negotiation Room." This scalable simulation put each of 20 participants into a simultaneous dialogue with a "difficult" client. It featured a realistic AI opponent programmed with common objections, a safe environment to fail without consequences, and scalable practice with a unified standard for all participants.
Value Metrics
- Increased Training Effectiveness: Participants who completed the VR simulation demonstrated higher confidence and better results in real-world negotiations.
- Created a Powerful USP: The "SCHOOL of SALES!" became the first and only in the country to offer such a format, instantly differentiating it from competitors.
- Strengthened Founder's Personal Brand: Anastasia Solntseva solidified her status as an innovator and trendsetter in the business training industry.
Tech Stack
- 3D Engine: Unity 2017.x with C# scripting
- VR SDK: Oculus Mobile SDK for Gear VR integration
- Hardware: Samsung Gear VR powered by compatible Samsung smartphones (for 20 participants)
- Networking: Photon Unity Networking (PUN) for synchronizing the multi-user training session
- Backend: Node.js for session management and collecting training analytics
“In a normal training, you 'play' at negotiating. In our VR simulation, your brain believes it's real. Our graduates don't just know the techniques—they have already won their first tough negotiations before ever meeting a real client. We don't teach selling. We create 'unbreakable' salespeople.”— Anastasia Solntseva, Founder of "SCHOOL of SALES!"
