One Click, One World: How a Passion Project Became a Hackathon Champion
From a passion project to a hackathon champion

Canvas Idea
This project was not born from a business need, but from pure passion. The founder had a vision: what if you could explore the entire world with just one click? Not through maps or photos, but through an immersive, interactive experience that would make you feel like you are actually there.
Canvas Challenge
The ambition was to build something that had never been done before—a seamless, one-click world exploration tool that would work instantly and provide a truly immersive experience. The technical challenges were immense: real-time data processing, seamless integration of multiple data sources, and creating an intuitive interface that would work for anyone.
Stroke Solution
The breakthrough came when we realized we did not need to build everything from scratch. Instead of trying to create a completely new platform, we focused on creating the perfect "bridge" between existing technologies. We built a smart aggregator that could instantly connect users to the best available experience for any location—whether that was a live webcam, a 360° photo, or an interactive map. This approach allowed us to deliver the "one-click world" experience without the impossible technical burden.
Value Result
The project won first place at the hackathon, demonstrating that the concept resonated with both judges and users. More importantly, it proved that the "one-click world" vision was not just a dream, but a viable technical approach.
Tech Stack
- Mobile Framework: Flutter with Dart for cross-platform development
- State Management: BLoC / Provider for managing application state
- Data Handling: Local JSON files bundled as assets for offline demo content (360° photos, coordinates)
- Mapping: flutter_map package with OpenStreetMap for displaying interactive maps
- Web Content: webview_flutter plugin for embedding live content like webcams
“I never thought my passion project would actually work. But when I saw people reactions—the way their faces lit up when they clicked and instantly found themselves in a different part of the world—I knew we had something special.”— Project Creator
